went to see
yann novak's sound/video installation at the soundfjord gallery. the room was warm. in one corner few bottles of wine, some glasses. the projection screened blue and purple lines that were slowly moving forming a virtual landscape that could be described as a foggy and sunny sunset in a tropical city. there was a monochrome drone, apparently without changes, putting the observer in an almost religious state. people were talking outside. not listening. they were talking, just talking. i was reading books, opening them randomly, trying to find something interesting in words while listening to sound piece. occasionally, some people entered the room. spending more time looking for a drink than paying considerable attention to what was playing. i think i stayed in for one hour. i drank two glasses of red wine. i think i'm anti-social.
